MID-MARCH
The mayor closes the beaches, so folks go to the city, county and state parks. These soon also close so folks go for walks and jogging, by the hundred, on the bayfront. They haven’t gotten the message.

I have planted lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, peas and cucumbers and built a scarecrow.

EARLY MARCH - Grocery stores in my part of Florida were out of all cleaning products, toilet paper and the entire meat area.

Emergency Alerts no longer appear for Amber and Silver but from FL Department of Public Health. They still scare the hell out of me every time they sound.

Plants are sprouting, I’m writing and quilting and watching Tiger King and Ozark. What a combination.
